Online application for admission of 10 government schools of Chattogram starts

Application for admission to 10 government schools of the port city of Chattogram has started in the new curriculum. Online application for admission will be accepted on November 14 till 5 pm. The schools are Chattogram Collegiate School, Dr. Khastogir Government Girls High School, Government Muslim High School, Nasirabad Government High School, Chattogram Government High School, Chattogram Government Girls High School, Bakolia Government High School, City Government Girls High School, Haji Muhammad Mohsin Government High School and Chattogram  Government Model School and College. The admission process of these schools will be completed through automatic lottery from the application submitted online.

The application fee is fixed at Tk. 110, which can be paid only through SMS from Teletalk prepaid mobile. Students and their parents can apply by clicking here.

Chattogram  Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Mohammad Sadi ur Rahim Jadid said that 60 students per branch have been mentioned in the instructions issued for the admission of students in all schools of the country, including 10 government schools in Chattogram . Acceptance of application and further action will be taken according to this rule. Schools that are included in the lottery will have a lottery. But not all schools are included in the lottery process. They will complete the admission process in their own way.

It is known that applications will be accepted from students against 2 thousand 424 vacant seats in 10 government schools of the city from fifth to ninth class. Out of this there are 1 thousand 545 vacant seats only in the fifth class. Besides, students will be admitted against 500 vacant seats in class VI; 10 in class 7; 10 in class VIII and 359 in class IX.
